School Site Council
School site council (SSC) is a group of elected representatives from the school community (both parents and school staff) that works to improve the school's education programs.
SSCs are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Evaluating school budgets: SSCs work with the principal to review and evaluate school budgets.
- Developing the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA): A strategic plan that outlines goals to increase student achievement
- Recommending on Title I programs: SSCs provide recommendations related to the school's Title I program
School Site Council meets on Tuesdays @ 3pm in the school library.
